Purpose

To meet the increasing demand of business operations and management, new knowledge and research on management science continue to be raised. In recent years, many universities and colleges in Taiwan which have graduate programs in the management-related fields are producing increasing numbers of graduates, whose theses have gained positive recognition in academia and in the business world, domestically and internationally. Those numerous theses have set a new milestone in the research of management science. Therefore, the holding of this event can not only induce mutual observation and learning between the various institutions, but also create a channel for the business sector to share these research achievements. Furthermore, the knowledge and talent can truly undergo meaningful exchange between industry and academia.

In June 1991, the Chinese Management Association held the first ԤNational Symposium on Master Theses of Management,Ԭ and received enthusiastic feedback from all sectors. Under the auspices of ING Antai, this event has continuously sustained, and now is coming to enter its thirteenth year, with more entries submitted every passing year. The invitations are extended to all over the Taiwan's management-related colleges and institutions and managerial professionals. Through the process of recommendation, publication, discussion and review, the ultimate goal of exchanging, sharing, and spreading the management knowledge and research achievements has attained.

Now, the application of this year is about to start; the Organizer welcomes (graduate) schools with management majors and their current graduates (including those who had an EMBA degree) to apply enthusiastically.

Goals and Expected Outcomes

  1. To encourage the academic exchange between all institutions; to raise the standards of management science, and therefore to incite the knowledge reform and innovation of the management science disciplines.

  2. To encourage the exchange between academia and industry, between theory and practice; to carry out the research achievements of management science; to adequately understand those issues in which the industry is highly interested.

  3. To provide a direct channel for the industry to recruit outstanding newcomers suitable for their company.

  4. To build a positive societal image for ING Antai as a long-term supporter of academic activities.

  5. To strengthen the impact for ING Antai on university campuses by supporting this event.

  6. To continuously promote and strengthen the communication channel for Cross-Strait academic exchange in management education.

  7. To progressively extend the benefits through long-term experiences on helding this award.
